Smiles and LA.

This week we were in LA for an opening at Steven’s gallery that we were both in. Koa got to meet lots of LA friends and he was a traveling trooper dealing with installing art and being passed around the artworld. The opening was so crowded and a fun success…

Took a Dip!

We went to Puako to give Koa his first dip in the pacific. He loved it! There were sea turtles around but they wouldn’t come close enough for him to ride them.

Our trip to kapoho

We rented a house right on the water in Kapoho so Reg and Nadine could go night fishing. They caught choke fish! The sea maybe empty now. The house was amazingly lovely right near champagne pond. We went to the free Hilo zoo and had lunch in pahoa town while we were there too. Koa tried out his UV protecting pea pod tent…he seemed to like it.

Koa is in Hawaii

Koa has made it to Hawaii to see grandma , grandpa and tutu. He made the flight perfectly not a peep. He slept through both take off and landing plus I was lucky and had a nice couple next to me who would help me with my seat belt and tray table. He is having a good time swimming and being held constantly! We even made it to HPA’s pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin and watch hula.

Tired but Happy

Pumpkin Patch at the Rodeo

We went to the Pumpkin Patch at the rodeo arena next to our house to ride the rides and to take a family Halloween picture. Koa slept through the whole event, he never even knew we went! The kids had fun on the slide and the sidewinder, we were the only people there so they got the rides to themselves. We went home and made Isaac’s Dementor costume from Harry Potter.
